I still miss Thailand... (and one other short story)

Ok i'm back to blog abt thailand again... before i talk more abt chattuchak, lemme jus recap the thai girls show that all of us went during the first night when we were there..

The thai girls show cost 500 Baht!! which is abt S$20... way toooo expensive (in thailand). Furthermore, it was at a dingy and dark nightclub tucked away in a dirty and discreet corner of a street. When we were on our way there, all of us (i dunno abt the guys though) were kinda excited, cos we've nv seen such shows before! I imagined a huge stage, tables and chairs, flashy neon lights, girls performing in a very professional way..well sth like a magic show. (but i was prepared for the fact that some of them are fat) If you've watched THE MASK, well it's sth like the show tt the mask was performing.

I will not give a detailed account of what the girls did.. u can jus read xiaxue's blog... but i tell u its the most boh hua show to go to. Yes it is sth special tt can only be found in Thailand BUT i'm sure ah gua show is nicer (we didnt watch tt though...) The nightclub was packed with many hormone-raging-men. We were quite scared when we went in.. it was so dark..We jus sat down in a corner and watched the performance. The girls who were performing looked so bored, jus like how bored students looked when they are studying for exams. The girls tried to sway sexily to the music, but gosh! the music was BAD. TERRIBLE. Do all of you still remember 阿牛's 对面的女孩看过来？Replace the lyrics with "There is a reason dont know why, dont know whyyyy, dont know whyyyyy" HOW TO DANCE TO THIS KINDA MUSIC?

Anyway, in a nutshell, it wasnt good at all.

Ok back to Chattuchak!!!

So many tee shirts! All of them couldnt resist buyingand buying and buying... me wasn't too interested in tee shirts (only bought one). Well i didnt take too many photos at Chattuchak.. cos i was too busy shopping.. anw.. here are some photos of our conquests... most of which are from either Chattuchak or Suan Lam night bazaar:

So manyyy tee shirts hahhahaha... well actually the best places in Bangkok to shop isnt chattuchak, nor suan lam night bazaar, though suan lam is much easier than chattuchak to bargain. THe best place is the roadside stalls, those outside major shopping centres. So cheap, and can bargain and bargain and bargain! But some vendors are so afraid of bargin-ers like us that they have to do this..:

So poor thing right. Ok enough about shopping... let's talk abt.. hmm.. TEMPLES!! well basically the other thing tt we did there apart from shopping is visit temples. Here's a look at their marble temple:

we got scolded by a Thai woman there because we were wearing shorts. I guess it's kinda disrespectful, but the tour guide said can leh. =( we couldnt go inside marble temple cos we were wearing shorts though. some temples have stricter rules. I have a lot lot more to say about thailand, but once again, i am tired... so i shall go and slp now hahahah.

I am so infuriated!! These days i jus seem to meet perverts, lizards and cockroaches!!!! Jus yesterday, i went swimming with meryl at this jalan besar swimming complex. well we were happily swimming.. until i saw this PERVERTED SICK guy.. when i was about to reach the wall of the swimming pool, from the corner of my eye, I saw him putting on his googles, lowering himself into the water, and LOOKING IN THE DIRECTION WHERE I WAS!!! It was darn OBVIOUS that he was looking at girls swimming!!! I was very very insulted!!! Why cant he be more DISCREET??? I was so angry that I stopped swimming, stood up and stared at him. He had the audacity to stare at me for another 2 seconds before looking away. I was angry, so i decided i'll swim to the other side den go home. BUT HE ACTUALLY FOLLOWED ME!!! I couldnt take it lying down. I looked at him and pointed my finger at him. He swam away, but he keep looking back in my direction!! I had to do sth, otherwise i would be so angry at myself for being such a wimp. it's because of wimpy girls tt's why rapists are so daring. Before i left the swimming complex, I went up to him (fully clothed to protect myself from more oggling) and shouted at him. He actually scratched his head in response. I pointed my finger at him again cos i was jus so infuriated at his behaviour. The lifeguard thought I was mad. Before I left, I saw him swimming towards an old man sitting by the side of the pool. Apparently his father or sth. Then it dawned on me that he prolly is a bit mentally disabled. If i knew earlier i might have acted in a different way but hey before u scold me for scolding him, pls remember that i didnt know tt he had a mental prob or anything. I jus knew he was a pervert. So i did nothing wrong ah. If i scolded him despite knowing the fact he is mentally disabled den mayb i am wrong. But mentally disabled or not, any woman will be angry when a guy looks at her in such a way. ARGHH, bad week.
