About KL...
Firstly I would jus like to apologise for the misunderstanding that my previous blog caused… 对不起！
I think I need an update of my own life.. Well I just got back from KL.. went over to Suili’s place to stay for the week, together with Juju and Meryl. It was great, had fun together, taking ridiculous photos.. but there were a few terrible parts….
1) The bus that I took to M’sia was so lok kok can?? The bus kinda vibrates everytime the engine starts.. And it was a bit smelly. Bleah. You know these coaches usually hav a tv inside and the driver will play movies like Stephen chow, or those comedies lar. But the bus driver played a Tamil movie. Not too bad, I was slping so it was okay.
2) I had big time constipation!! I went there from tues-sat, and I couldn’t shit from tues-fri!!! And I ate so much there somemore. It was terrible lar, all I could do was fart and burp. As if that could get rid of the accumulated shit. I was really full of shit at that time lor. On fri, I couldn’t take it any longer, cos I couldn’t even bear to swallow food. Suili’s sister, a pharmacist, gave me some constipation medicine. It worked wonders!!! Anyway, the problem with me is that I cant shit when I am in a foreign environment. The other time when I went Thailand with rs they all I also nv shit. But when I came back to spore, I shitted the next day lor. So my conclusion is I cant go overseas to study. Suili said I will stop shitting for a year, and I imagined shit ozzing out from my mouth. Eewww
3) We got cheated by a taxi driver. Well, he is a muslim, and that day the four of us were wearing skirts and shorts. So, we reckon he didn’t really liked the way we dressed (Msia is a much more conservative society than Singapore, be glad tt we can wear tube tops wo getting shunned). The taxi driver fumbled with the meter when we got in, and the starting fare became $3 instead of $2. And the meter jumped so fast. The trip, which normally would only cost slightly more than $10, cost us $23. Cowardy us didn’t dare to make a sound lest he drives us to some small lane and dump us there.
Of course there were many exciting and happy moments…
1) I am inspired to have a dog! And I want a golden retriever! Suili’s dog was jus so adorable.. and she loves me a lot. =) She followed me wherever I went, sit when I said ‘sit’, holds out her hand to shake mine when I said ‘hand’. How adorable is that!! And I jus love stroking her soo muchhhhh.. For a moment, my fishy paled in comparison. =(
2) Let’s talk abt food here. I tell u, KL food is sooooo much nicer than Spore food!! Well I dunno whether its because I’ve gotten so used to spore food, but its undeniable that KL serves good food!!! Not the restaurants.. restaurants are so so only… I went to eat Beef noodles the first day, their beef noodles are mee kia with black sauces and minced beef, served together with beef ball soup. As I am typing this, I am salivating. One very differentiating factor between spore n msia food is that spore noodles are mixed with chilli sauce and mayb soy sauce, but msia noodles are mixed with dark soy sauce only. Darn delicious I tell u. Secondly, is their 煮炒. OH MANNN even spore’s best zi ca cant match KL’s ordinary zi ca lor. Their hor fun is so fragrantttt… I’m hungry again.. Lastly is their prawn mee, the soup one. Spore’s soup prawn mee is blackish looking soup right? Theirs is not! The soup is clear, but served together w sambal chilli, making the soup look a bit redish. AIyoooo ok enough abt food.
Ok lar basically the food was the main attraction. If ever I go back again, I’m gonna eat my heart out again!!! Well this entry is kinda boring.. I’ll upload photos of all the food the next time and I bet all of u will be salivating… hahhah
