An excursion to the Botanical Gardens

It was a happy weekend!!

Not cos i went to Botanical Gardens. .but because i had the company of Emily and Evon. =)

Happy days usually consists of them.

2 weeks back, we were planning to meet up. But meet up in town was so boring, we wanted to do sth we have ever done before. And the 2 of the suggested clubbing. (!!!) Over my dead body lor. So in the end we decided to have a pinic at botanical gardens!

We met at abt 4.. and when we approached the gates.. we were so excited that we asked a tourist to take a photo for us. Feeling ashamed of ourselves, emily said sth to make us feel better "Aiya, maybe we look like Japanese.." -_-'''''''''

We saw the Swan Lake, and me and evon were so amazed that there were TWO swans in a HUGE pond.

The weather was great, and we chose a shady spot to lay our mats.

Yay heres the food!


The food was delicioussss. And it's so good to have a 3-person pinic. No need to bring too much food, and everything jus seemed to be in the right amount. After the food, lazy emily and evon lay down on the mat to erm.. digest their food. See, they look happier when they are lying down.

Then came the climax of the day.

Ok you may wonder whats so great about a tree. We saw many kids climbing up the tree branch having fun, and we thought we wanted to climb n take some photos too. Here's us getting ready for the action..

We heaved themselves up the branch.. halfway thru, they got really exhuasted and had to stop to laugh.

After much difficulty, sweat, laughter, trembling, pausing, screaming and groaning.. we finally made it. *phew*

That's evon's legs clutching on tightly to the branch. hahahhaha

Basically, our trip to Botanical gardens was a fruitful one. not only did we eat till we nearly burst out of our pants, we exercised too! and learnt how to talk to erm... swans and ducks.



Presently to you THE TREE.

She was feeling all excited. Though she has already lost count of the number of times she has been going out on dates with him, she still felt that tinge of excitement and nervousness. Furthermore, today is a special day; she wanted it to be a memorable day for him. Diligently, she applied her blusher, making sure that it was the tinge of pink that he likes. She even put on her best dress, and her best dress is the one he likes most.

5 minutes passed.

10 minutes passed. She saw him sauntering into the train station, looking all relaxed. She was glad to see him.

The date went well. He bought her a bag of her favorite brownies, and they strolled down the busy street in silence.

Night time came. He walked her home, watched her go into the lift and then went on his way home.

Those were the JCRC Days

I just suddenly feel nostalgic.. sighs when you get older, you tend to reminisce abt the past more.

Today is JCRC Rally. 5th JCRC. It seemed like yesterday when i ran for the 4th JCRC Social Secretary. I can still remember how i felt when i stood on stage, waiting for people to shoot me with questions that i have no answers to.

It feels somewhat weird to see new people taking over.. and Claire taking over the Social Sec position. Social is like my lil baby, my achievements. Finally I have something that i can be proud of. (I'm quite a loser actually, dun have much achievements) Ok this is a sudden thought. I always feel that i dun have a passion for sth, tt i lead a meaningless life. I realised that, hey! i love event planning! it's something i enjoy doing, and the satisfaction that i get from it is immense. (I'm not such a low life loser afterall, hahaha) I jus feel quite lost now, like everything jus suddenly ended without warning.

Very soon, I will have to put them under "hall 14"..

Ever since sch started, i have this lil fear deep in my heart. Or rather, I should say its saddness. Before i know it, i will be graduating. and before i know it, i will leave this hall. Everything is moving too fast for me. Way too fast.. I dont want to graduate jus as yet. I still wanna stay a lil longer, do the things i wanna do, the thigns that i can still do as a graduate.

Time waits for no man.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I've finished reading this book... and it left me weeping and begging for more. you know i am both infuriated and happy (ok not exactly happy jus a positive feeling) by the book! I am happy cos I like reading harry potter books and when i think back about what i have read, it brings back a smile to my face cos it was really an enjoyable read. no boring nor dragging parts.. everything moved quickly. I remembered reading this part about Arogog dying and Harry Potter Ron and Hermione were supposed to go to its funeral. Ron made quite a funny comment, sth like 'you mean you wants us to go there and cry over a horrible hairy body?' I tell you i burst out laughing, ON THE TRAIN okay. Alone somemore. People must be thinking I am mad..

Ok, back to the plot. As Kaylii pointed out, Hedwig is missing from the story! See lar who asked JK Rowling to kill Sirius Black in the 5th book, now nobody can send mails to Harry anymore, might as well kill HEdwig also lar.

Yeah as i said, the book isnt too draggy, but the plot moved way too fast! before we knew it, it was like christmas?! And nothing much happened during the sch term b4 xmas! Damn sian lar can.. I feel like I finished the book without feeling that the book should be finished. No proper ending to it, it's like suddenly everything jus ended.

Then i expected that the half blood prince will be a big shot in the book lor. Wah piang it is jus Snape can? Seriously, the half blood prince has no connections watsoever to the plot of the book. Mayb JK Rowling dunno what title to put lor.

AND THEN. DUMBLEDORE HAS TO DIE?!?!?!?!?!!? WHY OF ALL PPL DUMBLEDORE??? Wah lao he didnt even managed to die a glorified death lor can?!That blardy Snape has to catch him wandless and defendless! All Snape had to do was jus mutter sth n dumbledore jus died! he didnt even get to speak a few words to Harry before he died.. wah kao! Huh and yar! he went to get tt locket with Harry, risked his life , and then it is a STUPID fake one?! and what? he drank that thing for nothing??? wat a lousy death! But den i still cried lar, cried till my eyes swollen somemore.

You know I feel so depressed after finished reading it, everyday for a few seconds, i will think abt Dumbledore. Why must he die.... My friends all said he and Sirius will come back to life, will they? sigh... I cant believe a book is affecting me so much lorrrrrr...

there was also once when a guy msged me n asked me if i wanted a sexual r/s. He has a gf, mind you. He even said sth like "I have a fren who lives in hall, we can always use his room". I think i deleted that msg in a moment of terror. Should have kept it..

Jingyang is GOD~~~

Jingyang forbidded me from using the title as my nick, so i shall use it in my blog!

This blog is specially dedicated to jingyang, but as if he reads lo hahhaha. but jy, if you do, leave me a msg to lemme noe u graced the grounds of my blog! hahhahahahah

OK I am really making him sound like a god.. so lemme just start by explaining why he is god.. my computer, incidentally, the one tt i am using to type now, crashed jus a few hours ago. I returned to my room yesterday night only to find out tt my comp hang-ed. so i thought 'aiya, jus restart lar wat the heck.' but once i pressed the restart button, the screen went black. The comp couldnt even start up. sth was seriously wrong... it cant b virus.. cos the whole darn CPU got no sound of the motherboard at work! ok lar except for the fan.

I was so upset.. i msged jinyang.. he couldnt come up to help me... but i wasn't pek chek or wad (even though i alrdy like panicked, cos i totally nv backed up my comp b4!!) cos jingyang always kena pestered by me! So i thought 'ok lar, he helped me so many times liao.. i can wait..' BUT I CANNOT WAIT. So i got yaowen to come up n save me. He said it could be tt the motherboard 烧掉, or the whole CPU spoilt. Wah i siao diao lor. 无原无故must spend money again..

Then jus a few hours ago, jingyang asked if i needed him to come up. I wanted to say 'no lar, think yaowen n tse whei can help me solve the prob... they help me check then i jus go sim lim to buy the spoilt parts lor..' Wah heng i didnt say tt lor! He came up, changed the RAM slot and
VIOLAAAA!!!!
MY COMPUTER IS REVIVED!!!! REVIVED LEH!!! IN A MATTER OF LIKE, 2 MINUTES?!! GIVE ME A DAMN GOOD REASON WHY JINGYANG IS NOT GOD? NO, GIVE ME TEN GOOD REASONS!

Ok i shall try n remain sedate n calm n not try to jump up n clap with my feet. But i really think jingyang is superb!! He is like a genius can?? Whatever problems I have, no matter how big, will jus seem so insignificant when jingyang is here! And my comp seems to be in awe of him too! everytime my comp breaks down ah, den i call jy but when he comes and click ard, everything will b fine again! see, my comp is scared of him!

Anyway, I wanna thank JINGYANG!!! 谢谢你! Termia Kashi! Arigato! watever! thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you .......

And den i changed my nick to jingyang is god... den everyone on msn started asking him for 4D numbers hahhahahahaha I thought tt was like damn funny.
